Job summary

Vaupell is seeking a Program Manager to lead new product introductions for injection mold programs. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, validate processes per SIM and ISO requirements, and drive quotes, CAPAs, and project plans to secure new business opportunities.

The role requires a strong background in tool design, molds, and automation, with experience in FFDM/DOE techniques and quality systems. Candidates must be US Persons and able to work at our Michigan facility.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience or combination of education and experience.
Five (5) years in a Program Manager role.
Knowledge of SIM for medical validations.
In-depth understanding of part design, tool design, materials, processing, and fixtures.
Knowledge of tool design, hot runner manifolds, valve gate technologies, Mold Flow analysis.

Responsibilities

Directs, coordinates, and completes new product introductions for large-scale programs.
Quote proposals for customers and manage cost reduction initiatives.
Serve as a project Team Leader providing front line commercial and technical project engineering support.
Develop schedules, Risk Assessments, and Communication Plans for NPI activities.
