Job summary

Uniphase is seeking a Project Engineer to drive cross-functional teams from development through production, ensuring projects stay within budget and schedule while maintaining high quality and regulatory compliance.

The role includes hands-on engineering support, frequent customer communication, and mentoring of junior engineers with opportunities to grow into program management in a GMP/ISO environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of injection molding experience.
• Project management in injection molding or mold building.
• APQP, IQMS, PPAP/FAI processes experience.
• ISO 9001/13485 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on budget and schedule.
• Provide technical support throughout engineering processes.
• Maintain project status and communicate updates to customers.
• Lead engineering meetings and coordinate toolmakers and service providers.
• Drive APQP using IQMS and ensure accountability.
• Mentor project engineers and support transition from development to production.
