Discovery Kidzone in Helena, MT is seeking a dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our early childhood team. This full-time role begins Sept 8, 2026, with a start date of Oct 26 noted in materials. We offer coaching and mentorship to help the right candidate grow into a leadership role.

The schedule is weekdays with no evenings or weekends. You will lead daily routines, implement developmentally appropriate plans, document progress, and communicate with families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in licensed childcare or early learning.
• Experience working with infants or toddlers preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to complete state licensing and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily classroom routines for infants and young toddlers
• Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
• Support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
• Observe and document children's progress
• Maintain communication with families regarding children's development and daily activities
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and center policies
• Guide and support classroom team members
• Organize classroom materials and maintain a clean, safe learning space
• Work closely with center leadership to ensure high-quality classroom operations
