Job summary

Clemson Creative Academy, a licensed childcare center, is seeking a full-time Lead Teacher for our Infant classroom. A high school diploma or GED, the ability to pass background checks, and 18+ years old are required; prior childcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare developmentally appropriate lesson plans for an infant classroom.
• Implement weekly curriculum activities and maintain daily routines.
• Establish professional rapport with families to provide quality care.
• Ensure safety and well-being of each child and maintain a clean, organized classroom.
• Maintain child assessments and portfolios; conduct parent-teacher conferences biannually.
• Demonstrate physical ability to work around young children (sit, stand, walk, run, climb stairs).
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs as needed and fulfill daily classroom duties.

Clemson Creative Academy is a licensed childcare center seeking full-time Lead Teacher for our Infant classroom! To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED, the ability to pass all background checks, and candidates must be 18 years of age. MainJob Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.
• Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carryout lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Useour parent communication appefficiently.
• Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; andmaintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.
• Maintaina child assessment and portfoliofor each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing,walking,running,and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
• Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
