Job summary

Arcadis’ Industrial Water Treatment and Optimization team seeks a four-plus year Industrial Water Wastewater Process Engineer to contribute to a growing portfolio of water and wastewater design projects in the United States. The role covers study through commissioning, with mentoring from a senior engineer and opportunities to lead technical work and client communications.

Candidates should have a relevant bachelor’s degree, PE or EIT preferred, and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• 4+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in the industrial water/wastewater field.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Function as the process engineer on industrial water/wastewater projects.
• Apply processes and technologies for treatment and design.
• Prepare construction documents and P&IDs, specs, reports, and O&M manuals.
• Perform engineering calculations using Excel and Mathcad.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
• Support project execution from study through start-up and commissioning.
