Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair extrusion and manufacturing equipment, and perform scheduled preventive maintenance.

You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, manage work orders in CMMS, and coordinate with vendors for parts, with a focus on maximizing production uptime.

Mentor junior technicians and uphold safety standards including LOTO and arc-flash procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with AC/DC motors, drives, and power distribution.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings.
• Experience performing preventive and reactive maintenance.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash, and industrial safety procedures.
• Experience with electrical test equipment (voltmeter, ammeter, ohm meter, megger).
• Experience supporting manufacturing or production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair extrusion and manufacturing equipment
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules within CMMS
• Order replacement parts and coordinate with vendors as needed
• Support production uptime and reduce equipment downtime
• Escalate complex controls and PLC issues when necessary
• Mentor and develop junior maintenance technicians
