Accelera in California seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our manufacturing infrastructure at peak performance. You will proactively maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade complex machinery to maximize uptime and production efficiency.

You will perform precision machining, welding, and fabrication, manage parts and vendor quality, and coordinate both in-house repairs and external support to extend asset life.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting, equipment rebuilding and diagnostics.
• Welding, fabrication and manual machine shop skills.
• Ability to read schematics and engineering diagrams.
• High school diploma or equivalent; electrical maintenance certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and rapid repairs on presses and equipment.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement reliability improvements.
• Machining, welding, and fabrication for custom components.
• Manage parts lifecycle, sourcing, inventory, and vendor quality.
• Diagnose failures and coordinate repairs in-house or with vendors.
• Operate lathes, mills, and grinders as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventative maintenance and rapid repairs on high-speed production presses and auxiliary equipment to minimize downtime.


• Collaborate with production leadership to identify recurring mechanical bottlenecks and implement long-term reliability improvements.


• Perform precision machining, welding, and fabrication to create custom components that extend the lifespan of critical assets.


• Manage the lifecycle of mechanical parts, from sourcing and inventory tracking to evaluating vendor quality and cost-efficiency.


• Diagnose complex mechanical failures and determine the most effective path for resolution, whether through in-house repair or external coordination.


• Operate machine shop equipment, including lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders, to support custom equipment modifications.


• Support general facility infrastructure maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
