Job summary
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician in Owosso, Michigan. You will troubleshoot and repair extrusion and manufacturing equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
You will manage CMMS work orders, order parts, and coordinate with vendors while supporting production uptime and mentoring junior technicians.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with AC/DC motors, drives, and power distribution.
- Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings.
- Experience performing preventive and reactive maintenance.
- Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash, and industrial safety procedures.
- Experience with electrical test equipment (voltmeter, ammeter, ohm meter, megger).
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair extrusion and manufacturing equipment.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Manage work orders and maintenance schedules within CMMS.
- Order replacement parts and coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Support production uptime and reduce equipment downtime.
- Escalate complex controls and PLC issues when necessary.
- Mentor and develop junior maintenance technicians.
