Job summary

Insight Global in the United States seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support extrusion and manufacturing equipment. You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and uptime on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include CMMS work orders, parts coordination with vendors, and mentoring junior technicians to uphold production efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with AC/DC motors, drives, and power distribution.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings.
• Experience performing preventive and reactive maintenance.
• Knowledge of LOTO, Arc Flash, and industrial safety procedures.
• Experience with electrical test equipment (voltmeter, ammeter, ohm meter, megger).
• Experience supporting manufacturing or production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair extrusion and manufacturing equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules within CMMS.
• Order replacement parts and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Support production uptime and reduce equipment downtime.
• Escalate complex controls and PLC issues when necessary.
• Mentor and develop junior maintenance technicians.
