Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Bellevue, WA seeks a Senior Industrial Design Engineer to own the end-to-end Firm Engineering package for OMHS across ARS Gen14/SSD facilities, resolving cross-disciplinary challenges. You will lead design reviews, mentor IDE IIs, and drive standards across the OMHS portfolio, ensuring constructable, operable, scalable designs for next-generation fulfillment technologies.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in MHE system design or systems integration.
Experience delivering full-site, construction-ready designs (LOD 300–400).
Strong cross-discipline coordination and project management.
Proficiency with CAD and engineering analysis tools.

Responsibilities

Serve as single-threaded technical owner for a complete facility MHE system.
Own full-site MHE design across mechanical, electrical, controls, and structural disciplines.
Partition design work to junior IDEs while maintaining architectural coherence.
Lead cross-functional design reviews with WWDE, E/E, I&D teams.
Drive design standardization across OMHS portfolio.
Ensure designs pass QE gates with high first-pass quality.
Mentor IDE IIs and support promotions.
