Job summary

Renowned Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large capital improvement and industrial construction projects from concept to closeout. You will coordinate internal stakeholders, engineering partners, contractors, and operations to ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

This role requires eight or more years in construction or EPC environments, strong planning, cost control, risk management, and the ability to influence across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of construction, engineering, or capital project experience.
• 3+ years in a formal Project Manager capacity.
• Experience managing large industrial capital projects in power/utilities/manufacturing/oil & gas/industrial construction.
• Experience from early-stage development through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, closeout.
• Knowledge of project scope, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, procurement, contractor management, change control.
• Experience reviewing engineering designs, drawings, specs, and proposals.
• Familiarity with industrial safety practices and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of large capital projects from feasibility to closeout.
• Develop project plans with scope, schedules, budgets, milestones, resources.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, construction, operations, procurement and finance.
• Coordinate with leadership to align projects with business priorities.
• Prepare scopes of work and preliminary cost estimates for capital funding approval.
• Present project updates and risk assessments to leadership.
• Review drawings, specs, and equipment for constructability and compliance.
• Coordinate selection of equipment, engineering firms, and contractors.
• Oversee outside consultants and contractors, including deliverables and field activity.
