Job summary

Professional Engineering Consultants seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead and deliver industrial facility projects in a consulting/engineering environment. You will own project scope, schedule, and budget, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure client satisfaction and timely delivery.

The role emphasizes ownership, strong communication, and accountability across manufacturing and industrial domains. Experience with client relations and proposal development is preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Minimum 2 years as a discipline/task lead.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Project Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Engineering Design preferred.
• Licensure by the applicable State Board of Technical Professions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make business decisions on projects from opportunity identification through project completion with minimal guidance or oversight.
• Manage project scope, cost, and schedule for planning, execution, and delivery on-time and within budget.
• Lead project teams throughout pre-contract phase; develop fee proposals and budgets; prepare contracts as appropriate.
• Assemble the project team with the approval of supervisors.
• Provide direction to project team to keep them on schedule and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Ensure Quality Control processes are followed, documented, and improved.
