Job summary

Willamalane Park and Recreation District seeks a Supervisor for Adult Recreation and Community Services. The role oversees operations of community services, adaptive recreation, and grant-funded programs, ensuring ADA accessibility and inclusive service delivery.

You will build partnerships with agencies and lead staff and volunteers to deliver high-quality programs that promote health, wellness, creativity, and social connection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in human services, public administration, or related field.
• Minimum two years' supervisory or program coordination experience in community services.
• Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and accessibility in community-based services.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, supervise, and evaluate operations of adult recreation, community service, and grant-funded programs.
• Lead partnerships with agencies to expand access to services (e.g., Senior Meals, Food programs).
• Oversee and develop adaptive recreation and leisure programs; monitor outcomes and grant compliance.
• Supervise staff and volunteers; ensure quality, accessibility, and inclusive service delivery.
• Prepare budgets and monitor grant expenditures; participate in district planning and reporting.
