Willamalane Park and Recreation District is seeking an Aquatics Lead to oversee daily aquatic operations, lifeguarding, and swim lesson programming at our facilities. Part-time, benefitted, nonexempt position with AFSCME representation.

The role requires a year of aquatic experience, Red Cross Lifeguard certification or equivalent, and the ability to obtain instructor certifications within a year. Schedule includes varied shifts and weekend coverage.

Competenze

• Minimum one year of aquatic experience and training.
• Red Cross Lifeguard certification or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain Lifeguarding Instructor and CPR Instructor within 1 year.

Mansioni

• Perform water-chemical checks and ensure pool conditions.
• Conduct lifeguard duties and emergency response.
• Teach swim lesson programs and meet with parents for feedback.
• Lead safety training and collaborate with Aquatic Supervisors.
