This hybrid role blends on-site coordination with remote administrative tasks, offering flexible scheduling and development opportunities in recreation management.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or relevant certification in Recreation Management, Sports Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience in planning and coordinating community recreation programs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with diverse community groups.
• Proficiency in using scheduling software and standard office applications.
• A genuine passion for community development and the promotion of active lifestyles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a diverse calendar of recreational programs, sports leagues, and community events.
• Coordinate facility bookings, equipment, and resources required for program delivery.
• Recruit, train, and supervise program staff, volunteers, and instructors.
• Manage program budgets, including registration fees, expenses, and revenue generation.
