Job summary

Acosta Group is seeking a part-time Associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations in Houma, LA. You will learn products, demonstrate features, and engage customers while maintaining an organized demo area and compliant with food safety guidelines.

The role may require handling equipment and preparing samples with small appliances. You will work up to 25 hours per week, with responsibilities ranging from setup to client interaction, while reporting to store management as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in customer-facing roles is beneficial.
• Ability to follow food safety guidelines and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Complete in-store food and non-food demonstrations professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of products represented.
• Manage event equipment and supplies in backroom areas.
• Coordinate with store management when Supervisors are unavailable.
• Engage consumers, intercept and sell products effectively.
• Prepare and serve food samples safely using appliances and utensils.
