Qualifications

• Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in biochemistry, analytical chemistry, metabolism, immunology, systems biology, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in mass spectrometry-based metabolomics and/or lipidomics.
• Experience developing quantitative workflows for metabolic profiling of cells and tissues.
• Strong record of collaborative research and scholarly productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead MS-based metabolomic and lipidomic workflows for cellular and tissue analyses.
• Collaborate across department to design and execute metabolomic studies.
• Develop and apply analytical approaches for metabolic flux analysis and isotopic tracing.
• Integrate metabolomic datasets with multiomic platforms to gain mechanistic insights.
• Provide expertise in experimental design, QC, data analysis, and interpretation for joint projects.
• Contribute to development of new metabolomics methodologies.
• Mentor graduate students, postdocs, and staff in metabolomics methods.
