Job summary

PCI is seeking a Lead, IC&V Technician in Rockford, IL for a full-time third shift. You will lead and train technicians, troubleshoot PLCs and vision systems, and coordinate with the maintenance supervisor on line setups and new jobs. Strong drawing interpretation and AutoCAD skills are required.

Responsibilities include programming servo drives, documenting control systems, and ensuring safe lockout/tagout and preventive maintenance execution for production lines.

Qualifications

• TABE testing requirements met at approved grade level for position.
• Associate's Degree in a related field and/or 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
• Basic Mathematical Skills
• Intermediate Computer Skills: ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs.
• Full Professional Proficiency: ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
• Very High Reasoning: ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the IC&V technicians daily.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and train less skilled technicians.
• Program/diagnose motion systems (Servo Drives).
• Read, interpret, and use drawings, diagrams, schematics and blueprints.
• Manage software and hardware for control/data systems and licensing.
• Identify equipment maintenance needs via PM Work Orders; enforce LOTO procedures.
• Collaborate with Maintenance team to solve problems and set up equipment.
