Job summary

Allstate is seeking a Lead Product Engineer for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) within the Core Engineering & Platforms group. You will drive the design, development, and productization of reusable infrastructure solutions that empower engineering teams to provision and operate infrastructure through code.

You will own the IaC strategy, build scalable automation modules, and collaborate with platform product teams to accelerate adoption.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code principles and engineering practices.
• Experience with continuous collaborative pair programming to solve technical challenges.
• Strong software engineering mindset with emphasis on maintainability, testing, version control, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise IaC strategy, standards, governance, and adoption roadmap.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable infrastructure automation across omni-hosted platforms.
• Build reusable modules, templates, blueprints, and self-service automation capabilities for infrastructure teams.
• Develop automation using Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, Puppet, Rundeck, Python, or related tools.
• Drive CI/CD, security, compliance, testing, and deployment automation for infrastructure delivery.
