Job summary

Summit Midstream Corporation seeks a Lead level I&E Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumented equipment across pipeline facilities and compressor stations. You will manage control systems, perform I&M checks, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with HV/LV electrical systems, PLCs, P&IDs, blueprints, and a strong commitment to safety in a dynamic midstream environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; technical trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Five years maintaining instrumentation and electrical systems in natural gas processing.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and regulatory requirements (DOT/OQ) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate electrical and electronic equipment; document tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, compressors, drivers and auxiliary equipment.
• Conduct I&M checks on all control systems and stay compliant with company standards.
• Identify, report and correct safety and environmental concerns.
• Oversee third-party construction and maintenance activities.
• Maintain and update documentation and training records.
