Job summary

Summit Midstream Corporation in the United States is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to maintain and troubleshoot site process instrumentation and electrical systems across multiple basins.

The role involves calibrating, configuring, and repairing I/P converters, PLC/DCS/RTU systems, and HMIs, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Willingness to work overtime and shifts and travel as needed. Summit offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; technical trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Journeyman electrical designation preferred.
• Five years of instrumentation/electrical systems experience in natural gas processing.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of personnel, visitors, and environment per company policies.
• Follow instructions with minimal supervision to meet daily goals.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, repair, and install electronic I/P converters, sensors, transmitters.
• Install and maintain PLC, DCS, RTU, and HMI systems.
• Trouble shoot and repair compressor panel boards; maintain process control and data gathering systems.
• Complete and update documentation to meet regulatory and Summit requirements (P&ID, electrical one-lines).
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the work area.
