Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced I&C engineer to lead and support control system projects for nuclear facilities. You will coordinate with discipline leads, define requirements, and manage technical execution from concept through FAT.

The role requires a BS in engineering (ABET-accredited) with 12+ years of design experience; PE license is preferred. Strong communication and client liaison skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in instrumentation & controls design engineering for commercial/industrial projects.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree required; PE license preferred.
• Clear communication, both written and spoken, with client liaison experience.
• Experience reviewing design documentation and engineering calculations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support I&C projects, coordinating with mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines.
• Develop control system specifications, vendor interface, and FAT witness plans.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and project estimates.
• Interface with clients to ensure project execution and satisfaction.
• Manage resources, loading, and develop task budgets.
• Assist in proposal development and preparation of diagrams/drawings.
