Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources is looking for an Engineer I to contribute to the restart of the Duane Arnold Energy Center. This role entails applying engineering principles within electrical, structural, or mechanical disciplines to support nuclear plant systems and modifications.

The ideal candidate will perform engineering analyses, assist with project implementation, and ensure compliance with established engineering processes. A bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in engineering.
• Familiarity with nuclear industry standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive engineering analysis to support business objectives.
• Provide direction to less-experienced engineers and technicians.
