Job summary

IAPMO seeks a Senior Construction Manager in Houston to serve as the owner's field representative on large-scale data center campuses. You will lead field execution, coordinate with GCs/EPCs, and ensure schedule, cost, quality, and safety targets are met through turnover and commissioning.

The role requires 10+ years in major construction, strong CPM/P6 skills, and proven stakeholder leadership in fast-track environments. Onsite role with strong benefits and long-term growth prospects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering large-scale construction projects.
• Experience as Senior Construction Manager or owner’s representative.
• Hyperscale data center experience preferred.
• Proven management of GCs, EPCs, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Strong CPM scheduling and Primavera P6 knowledge.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, contracts and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day construction activities across a large-scale campus.
• Represent the owner in the field and maintain relationships with contractors.
• Monitor performance, safety, and quality; drive timely resolutions.
• Lead coordination meetings, milestone reviews, and planning.
• Develop recovery/mitigation strategies with contractors and internal teams.
• Ensure progress reflects actual field conditions and milestones.
