Job summary

Chelan County PUD seeks a seasoned Superintendent to lead hydro plant maintenance at Rocky Reach, Rock Island, Lake Chelan and related sites. You will supervise crews, drive reliability projects, manage budgets, and coordinate with engineering, planning and asset management teams.

The role requires extensive hydroelectric experience, strong leadership, and a focus on safe, economical operations within a public utility context.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Certification or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or closely related field is required.
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Power plant maintenance experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Manage plant maintenance crews to meet safety, cost and reliability goals.
• Oversee maintenance planning, budgets and procurement for hydro facilities.
• Coordinate with multiple departments and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and administer project budgets and master work schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Act as duty supervisor and respond to after-hours emergencies.
