Job summary

Public Utility District No. 2 of Grant County, Washington seeks a senior planner/scheduler to lead plant-wide planning, scheduling, and coordination across Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering at Wanapum Dam.

You will align priorities, manage outage plans, and ensure readiness while supervising a team of Hydro Planners and schedulers. The role requires governance of plant procedures, data integrity in CMMS and scheduling tools, and ongoing process improvements to strengthen execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field or two additional years of relevant experience.
• Six+ years of relevant experience in power plant operations, maintenance, or planning/scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate across Plant Operations, Plant Maintenance, and Engineering; align priorities and resolve conflicts.
• Supervise Hydro Planners, Operations Technical Advisor, Operations Coordinator, and Power Production Scheduler; coach and assess performance.
• Lead cross-functional planning meetings, outage readiness reviews, and schedule reviews; document decisions and actions.
• Own the development and governance of short- and long-term outage schedules for Grant PUD hydro facilities.
• Govern plant procedures, workflow management, document control standards, and readiness criteria.
