CDM Smith is seeking a Hydraulic Structures Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team working on flood protection, water supply and wastewater projects in the United States. You will lead structural design activities and coordinate with engineers across disciplines.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required in Civil, Architectural or Structural Eng.
• Professional engineering (PE) license required.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and design hydraulic structures for flood control, hydroelectric and water resources projects.
• Lead project teams of structural engineers and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Prepare scopes, budgets and schedules for projects.
• Forecast workload and schedules and monitor budgets.
• Prepare contract documents with drawings, specs and cost estimates; direct others or work solo.
• Review shop drawings and respond to contractor questions during construction.
• Conduct inspections and structural assessments; prepare reports.
• Present technical results to team, clients and review boards.
