Job summary
Hitachi Energy in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Senior Project Lead Engineer to take technical ownership of complex HVDC projects and tenders. You will coordinate global, multidisciplinary teams and act as the primary technical contact for customers and stakeholders.
You will guide engineering from development through testing and commissioning, ensuring quality, schedules, and contractual commitments while working with advanced energy transmission technologies.
Qualifications
- Work authorization to work in the United States or Canada.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar technical leadership role.
- HVDC experience is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical contact for clients and stakeholders throughout project execution.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across global project teams.
- Lead development of technical solutions for complex HVDC projects and tenders.
- Drive engineering activities to meet schedules, budgets, and contractual commitments.
- Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning.
- Prepare project documentation and ensure deliverables meet scope.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and risk mitigation.
- Ensure contractual and regulatory compliance of engineering work.
