Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove is seeking a Senior Facilities Technician in Cedar Rapids to lead advanced facility maintenance across HVAC, chillers, plumbing, and electrical systems. The role requires independent diagnosis, repair planning, and coordination with external contractors for major projects.

Ideal candidates bring extensive industrial maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to mentor others.

Qualificações

• Progressive experience in industrial or manufacturing facilities maintenance.
• Extensive hands-on troubleshooting of HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting commercial/industrial chillers and chilled-water systems.
• Advanced experience with plumbing and piping systems; electrical and controls.
• Ability to coordinate outside contractors for significant repairs or shutdowns.
• EPA 608 certification preferred where refrigerant handling is part of work.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and monitor HVAC, chillers, and environmental systems; troubleshoot using data, alarms, and sensors.
• Work with building automation to review status, trends, and setpoints; identify root causes.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for facility utilities and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose piping, pumps, valves, drainage, hydronic, and electrical issues; plan significant repairs.
• Coordinate work orders, parts, contractors, and shutdowns; mentor junior technicians.
