• Ability to work independently or in teams with sound judgment on HVAC operations.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, diagnostic testing, overhauling, installation, and effects repairs on a large variety of HVAC equipment and controls.
• Researches specifications and makes installation corrections to ensure proper function as required by tenant agency requirements.
• Performs preventative maintenance such as changing filters and cleaning components.
• Works on HVAC and electrical systems, with independent or team-based decisions and recommendations.
• Fabricates, assembles, and installs ductwork and chassis parts using portable tools and welding equipment.
• Installs evaporator units, pipes, valves and connects control panels to power sources.
