Job summary

Right Guys Heating & Air in Fort Mill, SC, is seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Installer to lead residential and commercial installations. You will mentor a crew, read schematics, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.

A 10K sign-on bonus is available based on experience. Applicants should have 5+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience, EPA 608 Certification, and strong communication skills to coordinate with project managers and trades.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience.
Prior lead or supervisory experience on installation crews preferred.
EPA 608 Certification required.
Strong knowledge of residential and/or light commercial HVAC systems.
Ability to read blueprints, load calculations, and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee full HVAC system installations, including split systems, heat pumps, and air handlers.
Direct and mentor installation crew members to ensure quality workmanship and efficiency.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment specifications.
Ensure all installations meet local codes, manufacturer specs, and safety standards.
Coordinate with project managers and dispatchers to meet job schedules and deadlines.
Perform quality control checks on completed installations before sign-off.
Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness throughout each project.
