Job summary

Right Guys Heating & Air is seeking a Lead HVAC Installer to oversee residential and commercial installations in Fort Mill, SC. You will guide an installation crew, interpret blueprints, and ensure work meets codes and safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience and EPA 608 certification, with a leadership focus and strong teamwork. A sign-on bonus is available based on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience required.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience on installation crews preferred.
• EPA 608 Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of residential and/or light commercial HVAC systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, load calculations, and equipment manuals.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee full HVAC system installations, including split systems, heat pumps, and air handlers
• Direct and mentor installation crew members to ensure quality workmanship and efficiency
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment specifications
• Ensure all installations meet local codes, manufacturer specs, and safety standards
• Coordinate with project managers and dispatchers to meet job schedules and deadlines
• Perform quality control checks on completed installations before sign-off
• Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness throughout each project
