Job summary

Right Guys Heating & Air in Fort Mill, SC, is seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Installer to lead residential and commercial installations. You will mentor a crew, read schematics, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.

A 10K sign-on bonus is available based on experience. Applicants should have 5+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience, EPA 608 Certification, and strong communication skills to coordinate with project managers and trades.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience on installation crews preferred.
• EPA 608 Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of residential and/or light commercial HVAC systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, load calculations, and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee full HVAC system installations, including split systems, heat pumps, and air handlers.
• Direct and mentor installation crew members to ensure quality workmanship and efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment specifications.
• Ensure all installations meet local codes, manufacturer specs, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project managers and dispatchers to meet job schedules and deadlines.
• Perform quality control checks on completed installations before sign-off.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness throughout each project.
