Jetson is seeking a Lead Installer in Windsor, CO to set the standard on the job site. You will lead a residential HVAC install crew, perform complete heat pump installations, and mentor junior technicians while maintaining strict safety and code compliance.

You will communicate clearly with homeowners, coordinate with engineers, and help build out our market operations from the ground up. This in-person role requires physical stamina and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on residential HVAC install experience in attics, crawlspaces, and challenging environments.
• Proven experience leading an install crew and keeping a job on track.
• Experience mentoring junior technicians on the job site.
• EPA Section 608 Certification (required).
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Strong working knowledge of local building codes and compliance requirements.
• Solid refrigerant handling skills: recovery, evacuation, charging.
• Clear, professional communication with homeowners and teammates.
• Experience with heat pumps or minisplits is a strong plus; willing to grow that expertise.

Responsabilités

• Complete full heat pump system installs from start to finish.
• Remove existing gas furnaces and AC equipment, leaving spaces clean.
• Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and charging with precision.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams to install and troubleshoot.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes before wrap-up.
• Guide and mentor less-experienced installers on the crew.
• Deliver a standout customer experience with clear homeowner communication.
• Collaborate with engineers to surface better ways of doing things.
