Complete Comfort is seeking a Lead HVAC Installer to oversee residential and light commercial installations across Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee. You will lead projects, install furnaces, AC, heat pumps, and related equipment, and mentor junior team members to ensure top-quality work.

The role demands a minimum of 5+ years in HVAC installation, EPA certification (Universal preferred), and a track record of delivering safe, code-compliant results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC installation experience mentioned in the posting.
• Experience overseeing or directing installation work.
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems and installation procedures.
• Understanding of HVAC codes and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC installation projects from equipment delivery through completion.
• Install and replace furnaces, AC systems, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, ventilation equipment.
• Review jobs and prepare for installations before work begins.
• Guide helpers and less-experienced installers on proper techniques.
• Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and code compliance.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and determine practical solutions.
• Maintain a clean and professional work area.
• Communicate with homeowners regarding their new HVAC equipment.
• Work with dispatch and other departments to keep projects on track.

Lead HVAC Installer

$28–$38/hr + SPIFFs | $65,000–$85,000 Annual Earning Potential Chilhowie, VA & Blountville, TN | Full-Time

Complete Comfort is seeking a Lead HVAC Installer to oversee residential and light commercial installation work throughout Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee.

You'll be the experienced technician others can rely on in the field-handling installations, helping less-experienced team members develop their skills, and making sure every system is installed correctly from the beginning.

The Role

Experience We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of HVAC installation experience
• Previous experience overseeing or directing installation work
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems and installation procedures
• Understanding of HVAC codes, safety requirements, and best practices
• EPA certification; Universal certification preferred
• Experience working with Trane, Mitsubishi, or Generac is a bonus
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
