Southern Home Services is seeking an HVAC Lead Install Technician to oversee installation, upgrade, and replacement of residential HVAC systems. You will lead a team of technicians, perform complex installations, and ensure safety and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes mentoring Install Helpers, maintaining equipment, and delivering high-quality work in a dynamic environment. Physical duties and strict safety standards apply.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Lead HVAC Installer experience, residential market preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• EPA certification/approval for environmental compliance.
• Advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking to resolve HVAC issues.
• Proactive, enthusiastic approach with commitment to high-quality work.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to address client needs.
• Ability to work with others in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, or replace HVAC systems in residential homes with precision.
• Cut, thread, and connect pipes (copper or PVC) and manage high/low voltage wiring.
• Train and mentor Install Helpers on job sites and in the shop.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate with homeowners.
• Handle physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Maintain tools, parts, and the vehicle in a clean, organized condition.
• Work safely at heights, in tight spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
• Ensure adherence to appliance standards and safety regulations.
