Job summary

Capstone Mechanical is seeking an HVAC Foreman to lead a skilled crew in installation and maintenance projects. You will apply technical and mathematical skills to operate tools and equipment, oversee daily quality control and safety, and ensure housekeeping objectives are met under the guidance of the Field Supervisor.

The role requires coordinating with the superintendent, training crew members, and acting as a resource for the foreman on the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• State Driver's License with insurable driving record.
• 3 years HVAC experience with troubleshooting, installation and commissioning, plus 1 year of work leadership.

Responsibilities

• Plans and executes each job according to schedule and hours.
• Ensures installations comply with code, plans, specs and details.
• Coordinates with superintendent and other trades on site to simplify installations.
• Trains assigned crew, providing technical guidance and leadership.
• Ensures maintenance of equipment for safe, economical operations.
• Inspects equipment and diagnoses malfunctions using test instruments.
• Keeps records of installations and repairs to meet government requirements and SOPs.
• Completes required paperwork using basic math skills.
• Informs Field Supervisor of changes or emergencies within the department.
• Maintains a clean worksite and represents Capstone's mission and values.
