Job summary

K Komfort Heating & Cooling seeks an HVAC Foreman-Construction to lead a skilled crew on diverse construction projects across Wisconsin. You’ll oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires 3+ years in supervision, strong knowledge of HVAC blueprints and codes, and excellent leadership and communication skills. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; trade school certification preferred; college degree a plus.
• Several years of HVAC installation and repair experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficient understanding of HVAC systems, blueprints, and design specifications.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to meet driving requirements for company vehicles.
• HVAC/R certification or licensing as required by the state or region.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of HVAC technicians and installers on construction sites.
• Coordinate daily tasks according to project priorities and schedules.
• Provide guidance and training to crew members to enhance skill levels and performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
• Review project plans, budgets, and specifications to understand HVAC requirements.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and trade foremen to coordinate work sequences.
• Manage material inventory to ensure timely supplies.
• Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, including ductwork and piping.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure standards.
