Job summary

Piedmont Service Group in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced HVAC Foreman to lead commercial installation crews. You will supervise daily operations, coordinate with project managers and other trades, and ensure work complies with plans, specs and code requirements.

Join a hands-on team that values quality, safety, and on-time project delivery. You will mentor apprentices, conduct JHAs, manage materials, and report progress to the site leadership.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience as HVAC Foreman on commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, materials, and codes.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical layouts and blueprints.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Proven ability to lead crews and maintain safety on active sites.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record; OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily HVAC crew operations, assigning tasks and tracking progress.
• Conduct JHAs and enforce safety and PPE protocols.
• Supervise job site activities in line with plans and schedules.
• Interpret HVAC plans and blueprints for accurate execution.
• Coordinate with GC Site Supervisors and other trades.
• Prepare and submit material lists in advance to prevent delays.
• Mobilize equipment and materials and report shortages or issues.
• Perform quality checks to ensure code compliance and specs.
• Deliver daily Foreman Logs with crew hours and photos.
• Communicate updates to Project Managers and stakeholders.
• Lead toolbox talks and mentor apprentices on the job.
