Job summary

CBRE is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems at facilities. You will perform testing and scheduled maintenance to ensure reliability and compliance with codes and safety standards.

The role lies within the Engineering and Technical Services function, focusing on preventive maintenance, repairs, and support activities to keep building systems operating smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or trade school with 1–2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Strong communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems for building HVAC, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Conduct ongoing maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with codes and safety.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course of action for modifications.
• Follow defined procedures and processes under supervision to deliver output.
• Support preventive maintenance and general repairs on equipment and systems.
• Provide support within the Engineering and Technical Services function as needed.
