Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions seeks an experienced Commercial HVAC Engineer to maintain and service building HVAC/R systems at a customer facility. You will diagnose, repair, and install equipment, while ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.

You will mentor peers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help optimize building performance using BMS systems. This role emphasizes reliability and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain electrical, steam, and chilled water systems used for building HVAC/R systems and equipment, including calibration of related instruments, gauges, and control components.
• Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure accurate operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
• Fix equipment failures and identify the best course of action for equipment modifications.
• Mentor others and share in-depth knowledge of own job subject area and broad knowledge of several job fields within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Work with BMS routinely to supervise, adjust, and tackle building.
• Diagnose and repair self-contained refrigeration equipment such as 4°C, -20°C, and -80°C units.
