Job summary

System One in Midland, Texas is seeking a Lead HVAC Services Technician to provide local market sales support, technical service delivery, and technician development. The Lead Technician will act as the SME for chiller, controls, or mechanical service disciplines and support profitability by coordinating work with the Service Coordinator while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Chiller rebuild experience.
• Current Licensed Technician certification or verifiable experience servicing commercial HVAC systems.
• EPA Certification.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Industry knowledge and understanding of competitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide local market sales support, technical service delivery, technician development, and training.
• Serve as the local market SME for chiller, controls, or mechanical service disciplines.
• Assist the Service Coordinator with scheduling, coordinating work, and supporting technicians in resolving complex technical issues.
• Install and commission a wide variety of HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various HVAC systems, including atmospheric boilers and water-cooled chillers.
• Perform maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Establish and maintain clear communication with customers on and off work sites.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and procuring tools for technicians.
• Promote and adhere to all safety procedures and policies of BM CC.
