Job summary

Texas AirSystems is seeking an experienced Chiller Service Technician to perform inspections and maintenance on industrial HVAC systems, including chillers and associated equipment. You will interact with Project Managers, Service Coordinators, and customers to communicate findings and needs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in chiller/HVAC maintenance, strong problem solving, and the ability to work independently while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years experience in chiller/HVAC maintenance or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
• HVAC certification and OSHA 10 training mandatory.
• EPA Certification preferred (HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance and repair of industrial HVAC systems including chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and air handling units.
• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical, electronic, and mechanical components; obtain parts and calibrate systems per manufacturer specs.
• Oversee installation and operation of various mechanical systems.
• Assist in training materials and tools for chiller/HVAC maintenance.
• Be available for night/weekend shifts on a rotating basis to service emergencies.
