Randstad USA in Waltham, MA is seeking a Lead Facilities & HVAC Controls Specialist to maintain cutting-edge HVAC, BAS, and building systems in a cleanroom setting. This full-time onsite role offers stability and growth within a high-tech life sciences environment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on chillers, boilers, pumps, and air-handling units, plus optimizing climate controls with BAS/BMS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in commercial/industrial HVAC or facility maintenance (Biopharma or GMP a big plus)
• Working knowledge of mechanical diagnostics, electrical systems, and BAS/BMS
• EPA Universal Certification or relevant HVAC trade license preferred
• Problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on chillers, boilers, pumps and air-handling units
• Monitor and optimize climate controls using BAS/BMS
• Diagnose root causes of equipment issues to prevent downtime
• Maintain cleanroom and regulated manufacturing environments while collaborating with engineers
