Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on chillers, boilers, pumps, and air-handling units, plus optimizing climate controls with BAS/BMS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in commercial/industrial HVAC or facility maintenance (Biopharma or GMP a big plus)
• Working knowledge of mechanical diagnostics, electrical systems, and BAS/BMS
• EPA Universal Certification or relevant HVAC trade license preferred
• Problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail

What You’ll Do

• HVAC & Mechanical Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on chillers, boilers, pumps, and air-handling units.
• Building Automation: Monitor and optimize climate controls using advanced Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS).
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose root causes of equipment issues to prevent downtime.
• Precision Operations: Maintain high standards within cleanroom and regulated manufacturing environments.
• Team Collaboration: Partner with engineers and specialists on facility upgrades and energy-saving initiatives.

What You Bring

• 3+ years in commercial/industrial HVAC or facility maintenance (Biopharma or GMP experience is a big plus).

Key Responsibilities

• Routine & Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on building equipment, including HVAC units, chillers, boilers, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Identify, diagnose, and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize system downtime and maintain equipment reliability.
• Building Automation: Monitor and manage Building Automation Systems (BAS / BMS) to optimize performance and climate controls.
• System Inspections: Conduct periodic facility inspections to spot potential mechanical or environmental issues before they become critical failures.

The essential functions of this role include:
