Job summary

The U.S. Military Entrance Processing Command is seeking a Lead Human Resources Technician (OA) at the MEPS in Dallas. You will direct and guide a team of 3–5 HR Technicians at GS-203-05 or military equivalent, providing technical expertise and leadership for applicant processing.

You will ensure accurate data entry, maintain electronic and paper records, and deliver personnel-related guidance to staff and applicants. This role requires a qualified typist and adherence to federal HR procedures.

  • Experience supervising 3–5 HR Technicians or similar.
  • Experience recording and maintaining personnel data in automated or manual systems.

About the Position

The purpose of this position is to serve as the Lead Human Resources Technician (OA) responsible for directing and guiding 3 - 5 Human Resources Technicians in GS-203-05 or military equivalent. Incumbent of this position provides technical expertise, guidance and leadership to the Processing Element of the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS).

Proficiency Required

Time in Grade Requirement

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
