GlobalFoundries is seeking a Lead HR Business Partner at Fab 8 in Malta, NY, to shape workforce strategy and talent decisions across one of the most advanced semiconductor facilities in the United States.

In this senior IC role, you will coach leaders, drive succession planning, and align HR initiatives with site objectives, leveraging Workday data and AI tools to inform senior leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing/technical environments.
• Experience influencing senior leaders (Director+ level) and advising on high-stakes people decisions.
• Strong employee relations background with experience handling investigations and difficult separations.
• Ability to coach and develop others, including managers and HR practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior HR strategist for Fab 8 client groups, translating business priorities into people solutions across talent acceleration, workforce planning, and leadership capability building.
• Own the end-to-end performance management cycle for assigned client groups, including goal-setting, calibration, focal planning, and development planning.
• Partner with Employee Relations to ensure consistent handling of cases and coach managers through difficult conversations.
• Analyze workforce data to identify trends and design dashboards that support workforce planning and retention decisions.
