Job summary

State Courts System in Tallahassee, FL seeks a Lead Payroll Analyst to audit, analyze, and manage payroll and HR processes across OSCA and court units. You will handle payroll programs, ensure policy compliance, and prepare HR reports.

The role trains staff, manages People First payroll actions, and serves as liaison with state agencies to ensure quality control. Requires a HR-related degree and 3 years’ related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or closely related field is preferred.
• Three years of related HR, administrative support, customer service, or accounting experience.
• Knowledge of basic HR principles and payroll processes.
• Ability to apply laws, rules, and procedures and to present data clearly.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Audit, analyze and manage payroll and HR processes.
• Process biweekly, supplemental, and monthly payrolls; review timesheets and make adjustments.
• Audit personnel actions in the People First system and enter them.
• Provide guidance to HR staff in accordance with State Courts System guidelines.
• Coordinate and manage on-call, shift differential, and CJIP payments.
