Job summary

The State Courts System is seeking a Lead Payroll Analyst to audit, analyze and manage human resource processes and provide HR services support to Supreme Court and OSCA units. You will act as the payroll receiving authority and manage payroll programs, ensuring policy compliance and producing HR reports.

You will also help develop training in payroll areas, coordinate payments, and serve as a liaison with state agencies for quality control.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
  • Three years of related HR, admin support, customer service, or accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of basic HR principles and data analysis.
  • Ability to apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Processes biweekly, supplemental, and monthly payrolls and reviews timesheets.
  • Audits and analyzes personnel action requests (PARs) and enters them in People First.
  • Provides guidance to HR inquiries based on State Courts System guidelines.
  • Coordinates and manages on-call, shift differential, and CJIP payments.
  • Processes Ad Hoc Report Requests using People First and BOBJ reporting.
  • Monitors leave without pay, reconciles leave and processes payouts.
  • Leads training for staff and updates desk procedures year-round.
