Job summary

Commonwealth Lodging Management LLC in Glen Allen, Virginia is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee housekeeping operations across assigned areas and cover Executive Housekeeper duties in their absence. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent work experience.
• Computer skills preferred; familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Experience as a Housekeeping Room Attendant for at least 2 years.
• 2–3 years experience managing entry level staff.
• Strong English language and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping operations in assigned sections and cover Executive Housekeeper duties when needed.
• Maintain guest relations and confidentiality while resolving guest complaints.
• Train staff and communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness and safety; ensure proper equipment use and chemical handling.
• Prepare assignment sheets, monitor inventories, and manage keys and closures.
• Coordinate breaks, oversee room status and housekeeping checklists, and assist during emergencies.
